Hi all! I'm been so long since I've posted an update! I'm not even going to attempt to catch up.
Did you see the winners and nominees in the Ladies of Horror Fiction Awards? So many amazing books!
My kids go back to school this week, and it's an absolute nightmare out there. Please stay as safe as you can. 🙏

Book Review | Inheriting Her Ghosts by S.H. Cooper ⭐⭐⭐⭐★ - Inheriting Her Ghosts turned out to be such a comfort read
for me.
Finished Reading
Feral Creatures (Hollow Kingdom #2) by Kira Jane Buxton - I loved this book so much. Stay tuned for my review tomorrow.
Currently Reading
Dragon Mage
(Rivenworld #1) by M.L. Spencer - I'm listening to Dragon Mage on
audio, and I'm obsessed. It has such a classic fantasy feel to it.
Added to the TBR
The Dead and the Dark by Courtney Gould - I've very excited about this YA horror debut.
Billy Summers by Stephen King - Constant Reader.
This post is being shared as part of Book Date's It's Monday! What Are You Reading? and Caffeinated Book Reviewer's The Sunday Post.
I hate to say it, but I am so happy my daughter is not school aged. My hats off to everything parents had to deal with during this time. I hope all goes well for your children.
ReplyDeleteWe've been back at school for 3 weeks now and so far we are still open. But one of the public schools in our little town is closed until next week. Just doesn't seem to end at all!
ReplyDeleteInheriting her ghosts has a stunning cover! I'll take a look at your review now.
I’ve seen the Stephen King book around the blogosphere. It really looks good. Hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteI've never read anything by Becky Chambers, but I really want to, since I've only heard good things about her books. Hope you will continue to enjoy A Psalm for the Wild-Built!
ReplyDeleteOooh so many neat books! You've got my ear with Dragon Mage, and Inheriting Her Ghosts looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteMy grandson goes back to school this week too. I don't know how I feel about that when the Covid numbers are spiking back up here.
ReplyDeleteGreat list of books on your list. I'm especially interested in the Stephen King book. Looks good. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI’m glad my baby is too young for school. I don’t envy parents or teachers right now. I hope everybody is able to stay safe and healthy.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I'm so curious about The Dead and the Dark. Hope you love it!

ReplyDeleteGood luck with back to school- I agree are we going backwards??!?
I want to read the Buxton and Chambers books. I'm thankful my daughter chose all online classes when she signed up for fall in May.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart
I'd hate to have school-age kids at this point. Things have taken such a downward turn and the decisions being made are scary. Hope your little ones have a safe environment each day.
ReplyDeleteI hope your kids had a good first week of school. My daughter is glad to be back in the classroom after a year of virtual, but this mama is worried sick. I am at least glad masks are required in schools here. I hope you have a great week and enjoy your reading!
