Did you watch the Haunting of Hill House? It was amazing! I absolutely loved it.
I also loved watching Halloween. It is so worth going to see!
So what about you? Let me know what you're reading (or watching!) this week or leave me some links!
This post is being shared as part of Book Date's It's Monday! What Are You Reading? and Caffeinated Book Reviewer's The Sunday Post.
The Haunting of Hill House is a popular one at the moment but I'm too much of a coward to even try!
ReplyDeleteI can understand that. I thought it was very creepy.
DeleteI can't wait to see what you all make of Rebecca.
ReplyDeleteHill House - I liked it but didn't love it but I think I'm in the minority on that one. It was good in terms of the characters, deep, but I felt it was a little light on the scary factor.
Lynn :D
I thought the scare factor was great in hill house. I think it hit the right buttons for me. I'm loving Rebecca!
DeleteCan't wait to read your final thoughts on Rebecca.
DeleteLynn :D
Am I the only one that hasn't watched Hill House?
ReplyDeletesherry @ fundinmental Sunday Memes
Yes, Sherry! So you need to go watch it!! Haha. I'm just teasing. :) It's really good, though.
DeleteI wondered how the new Halloween was! I am glad to hear it was good. I want to see it!
ReplyDeleteAnd Milk and Honey has been on my radar. I really want to read more poetry. I will have to give that one a try! :)
Halloween was so great.

ReplyDeleteYES. I loved it so much.
DeleteAh, I wasn't really on the ball and didn't get a copy of Rebecca in time, but maybe I can still catch up :D
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
You can totally catch up! We are reading it all month.
DeleteI really enjoyed Hill House as well. It was so atmospheric and for the most part, the actors were dead on. I loved Theo and thought the casting was awesome!
ReplyDeleteI agree. The cast was amazing.
DeleteI have a copy of Rebecca waiting on a stack to reread. Enjoy!

DeleteI am 2 episodes away from finishing Hill House but it is killing me emotionally. It is so heavy but so very good.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. The last episode is really, really tough. You should wait a bit. :'(
DeleteEnjoy your Rebecca read along - it always enriches a book I think when you are able to discuss it with others.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm enjoying reading it with the group.
DeleteI have watched the Haunting of Hill House and I'm now about 80% done with a re-read of the book. I have a blog post planned to compare and contrast the two versions. My weekly updates
ReplyDeleteYES! I can't wait to read your comparison.
DeleteMade me nostalgic when I saw Rebecca. I think I should go for a 're read of all her books.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving her writing soooo much.
DeleteI read Rebecca a few years ago and loved it. I haven't been watching much TV lately so I still need to check out The Haunting of Hill House. I feel like the last person to see it!
ReplyDeleteYou really need to watch Hill House. It's amazing. I'm loving Rebecca so far!
DeleteI read much more scifi and fantasy and mystery than horror. I don't mind dark which I get in some suspense / thriller / mystery books. Anne - Books of My Heart
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of those genres as well, but I do tend to read more horror. :)
