What about you? What June books are you most excited about? Are there any books on your list that I need to know about?
Thanks for reminding me. I want to read Mapping the Interior this month!
ReplyDeleteMe, too!! You're welcome.
DeleteInto the Valley of the Sun! I didn't get to it in May like I'd hoped, it's on the list for June!

I'm reading it now, and it's soooo good.
DeleteI just got an ARC of Shark Island yesterday and after watching Jaws on Memorial Day I'm super excited for it. Into the Valley of the Sun is one I want as well.
ReplyDeleteNo pressure, but I'm totally going to wait on your review for Shark Island! :)
DeleteShattered Minds sounds kinda cool, and Shark Island! Ooh I might need that one...
ReplyDeleteIt does sound cool. I haven't read the first one, though, so I will have to figure how to squeeze that in.
DeleteSummers are always crazy busy for me. I do try to squeeze in some sunny afternoons by the pool with a book but if I do manage to read I struggle to blog.
ReplyDeleteI struggle to read or blog in the summer. All I usually do is think all summer long about how I should be reading or I should be blogging. Haha. It's probably more fun to actually do it than feel guilty all summer about not doing it. :) Pool reading does sound good.
DeleteThe only one of these I knew was coming was Dark Duet. Mapping the Interior sounds fascinating—I sometimes have dreams about discovering whole sections of a house or apartment that no one knew were there—but it also sounds a bit too creepy for me.
ReplyDeleteAnother SF/F title coming out this month is Seanan McGuire's second Wayward Children book, Down Among the Sticks and Bones. And I'm looking forward to Callie Bates's debut novel, The Waking Land.
Yeees. I have that dream, too. It usually starts out where I discover rooms that look like my great-grandmother's house and then I keep finding more and more rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and balconies... It's been a while since I've had one of those dreams.
DeleteGreat list - and timely reminder that I would like to read the Lam series so maybe I should start the first eh!
ReplyDeleteLynn :D
I haven't read the first one, either, so I know what you mean. :)
