The Devil Crept In by Ania Ahlborn - The Devil Crept In showed up in my mailbox this week. (Major happy dance! (salute)) I love Ania Ahlborn. I can't wait to see what she does with this one.
Aletheia by J.S. Breukelaar - The description of Aletheia has me super curious. I'm expecting some unreliable characters in this ghost story set on a lake.
The Final Reconciliation by Todd Keisling - Heavy metal horror? Yes, please. The Final Reconciliation is inspired by The King in Yellow mythos. I feel like a horrible horror reader because I have never read The King in Yellow. I will see if I can remedy that! This is also supposed to be "reminiscent of cosmic horror by H. P. Lovecraft, Laird Barron, and John Langan". Sounds good to me!
What about you? What are you reading this week? Be sure to let me know in the comments or leave me a link!
This post is being shared as part of Book Date's It's Monday! What Are You Reading?, Tynga's Reviews' Stacking the Shelves, and Caffeinated Book Reviewer's The Sunday Post.
I've been watching the Australian Open too! Gooooo Federer. :D :D :D :D All of the books here are completely new to me! I've seen The Last Harvest but I am sooo not a horror person. :O I hope you enjoy all of your new books!
ReplyDeleteHave an awesome weekend, Jennifer. :)
Check out my STS post!
Right?! Fed is going to have to beat like 5 top ten players to win this thing. We will have to send him all of our vibes!!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I definitely need to do some research into The Devil Crept In. It looks really good!
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
It does sound good. I can't wait to read it!
DeleteI used to be a huge women's tennis fan when Hingis was playing. As a Swiss I obviously followed Federer but I sort of lost interest. Hope you have fun. And off to check out Longmire!
ReplyDeleteI used to love women's tennis. I haven't watched much at all since Clijsters retired. I have no interest in any of the current women (unless I think they will beat Serena).
DeleteThe Devil Crept sounds GOOD looking forward to the review 😊
ReplyDeleteI hope it will be a very positive one! :)
DeleteThe Devil Crept In was fantastic..enjoy! Glad you are on a roll. I hope it continues. Ride the wave for as long as you can. Have an amazing week!
ReplyDeleteYou've read it already? That is great to know! I'm looking forward to it.
DeleteOooh The Devil Crept In sounds fantastic! I have yet to read anything by Ahlborn but I did buy Seed years back that I should probably make time for.
ReplyDeleteIf you are to read one Alhborn, Seed is the one to read!
DeleteLowriders in Space? That looks fun. And The Last Harvest sounds like a different YA horror- glad you liked it! Enjoy the Open. I've only watched an episode of Longmire but I liked it... I may binge it at some point.
ReplyDeleteLowriders was fun! I'll do a little mini review of it this week. The Open and Longmire is pretty much all I've done with my free time this weekend. :)
DeleteYay for a good reading and blogging week! Homegoing is on my TBR for this year - hope you enjoyed it. Enjoy your new books and have a great week!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy Homegoing. It's impressive for a debut.
DeleteYou are doing great this month! January has been slower for me than anticipated. I just added Alethia and The Final Reconciliation to my TBR. They both sound pretty awesome. Longmire is awesome. We finished watching the newest season in December. I can't believe they are doing on one more year. I wanted to read the series this year but don't know how that will pan out.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Barb! Sorry things are slower for you. I hope you are doing something wonderful. I'm loving Longmire. I wondered how many seasons there will be. I may have to start reading the books once I run out of shows. :)
DeleteI've heard good things about Homegoing.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the new week, and thanks for sharing. Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
I read Homegoing based on all of the praise.
DeleteEnjoy all those reads. I love a bit of great sport to watch too although not tennis for me. However I know it would be great.
ReplyDeleteI prefer individual competition over team sports. I will watch a little bit of baseball in the upcoming season, but Tennis is my sport.
DeleteBusy week for you.
ReplyDeleteENJOY this week of reading.

My It's Monday, What Are You Reading
I have been busy. I hope this groove I'm in will last a while.
DeleteEeek Alethia sounds so creepy! I am such a weirdo. I hate to swim in lakes because I am that oddball who is always wondering what is lurking under the water. Overactive imagination. Or too much Stephen King. Remember the story The Raft? I think that did it to me. Lol.
