My Favorite Books Read in 2015

I love end of the year lists. And by that, I mean I love everyone else's end of the year lists. My "to be read" pile can never be too high.

And yet, my pile is so high. I can't imagine how many books would have been a favorite as well if given the opportunity.

Out of the 57 books I've read so far in 2015, these are the books I rated 5 stars:

Stinger by Robert McCammon {no review}
The Princess Bride by William Goldman {my review}
A Nearer Moon by Melanie Crowder {my review}
Sour Candy by Kealan Patrick Burke {my review}

Honorable Mentions

These books didn't get 5 star ratings, but they were stand out reads worth mentioning. Paul Trembley's A Head Full of Ghosts, Erich Maria Remarque's All Quiet on the Western Front, and the entire Wayward Pines trilogy.

After making my list I noticed I only have 1 woman author on my favorites list this year. I apparently only read 14 books by women this year. I need to start paying attention again to what I'm reading.

Have you posted any "best of" or "favorites" lists this year? I would love to read them. Please leave me a link to your post if you can!
