Life has been hectic so there hasn't been much time for blogging lately. We were all hoping the rain would arrive early this weekend so we could at least get a break from the soccer games. We are 9 weeks in (not counting the pre-season tournament), and we're all exhausted. The rain arrived in the middle of our second game, but the kids played through the downpour. So much for the needed break.
My reading has been sporatic lately, too. I think the only book I have finished since my last update is Jonathan Janz's Wolf Land. I'm still making my way through Seize the Night (and really loving it).
Those book covers make me realize how intense my reading has been.
I hoping later in the week I can catch up on some of my reviews. I'm contemplating doing NaNoWriMo this year, but that may wipe out my reading/blogging altogether.
What about you? What are you reading this week? Be sure to let me know in the comments or leave me a link!
This post is being shared as part of Book Date's It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
Yep, still making my way through SEIZE THE NIGHT here as well. I adore it! I've been reading a few of the stories in between books all week. I expect to finish it (and review it!) by Friday at the latest.
ReplyDeleteI hoping to finish it this week, too. It has been a great October read.
DeleteOh boy you are a brave reader. I run the other way from horror. That is why I'm glad my girls didn't get into soccer. In SF, I would see the teams play rain or shine by the ocean and I was not goin' for that.
ReplyDeleteApparently they only call the game if it is lightning. Pretty crazy.
DeleteThose covers sure do look intense. Soccer in the rain - charming!
ReplyDeleteThat was one great thing about them playing in the downpour - the memories!
DeleteIt seems like everyone is either having a blogging or reading slump lately. Luckily mines a blogging slump. I'm reading lots!
ReplyDeleteAt least you are reading! That's the most important thing, right? I just need to get back a little bit of my time.
DeleteI'm doing NaNoWriMo this year, but I'm also hoping to continue blogging, though I'm sure both reading and reviewing will take a hit. Let's see if I can juggle everything!

If I take the plunge, I will try to juggle it all, but I know my blogging is always the first to give in life. I don't have many things that are my own these days. Hopefully we can manage! :)
