Happy Labor Day to those of you in the States! I plan to spend my day watching tennis, reading, and probably working on the blog. My account was hacked yet again, so I have no choice but to get a new account. Advice welcome!
Last week I posted my review of And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie.
I also finished reading The Incorruptibles by John Hornor Jacobs, Shakespeare's MacBeth, and Run by Blake Crouch.
This week I am reading Wool by Hugh Howey. It is a fantastic dystopian novel that I do not want to put down.
What are you reading this week? Be sure to let me know in the comments or leave me a link!
This post is being shared as part of Book Journey's It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
I used to always read your blog and then you disappeared off the scene. I didn't know you were hacked (twice!). Yikes, I had my twitter hacked 2x last year, and deleted it, but then I gave in and made a new one.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, glad you are back. I don't have advice, sorry. I assume your whole computer was infected to mess up your blog, so my sympathies.
I have yet to read Blake Crouch, but I am tempted to read the Pines series.
Hope you straighten everything out with your blog.
Thanks, Rita. No other problems and no other accounts - just this one! And it's a persistent nightmare.
DeleteRun was so-so for me, but I do still plan to read the Pines series.
Wow that stinks to have your account hacked! I'm afraid I don't have any advice there! :/
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Macbeth in a long time! I actually enjoyed that one quite a bit when I read it! I love the cover of Wool!
Wool is so good. I keep trying to sneak in time to read it when I need to be doing other things. :)
DeleteThat totally sucks that your account got hacked--and twice too. The only thing I would suggest is to go to your account settings and make sure it is as secure as it can be. Never been hacked, so I don't really know much about dealing with it. :(
ReplyDeleteI hope things get better, though. Good luck!
Thanks, Hanna. I had it locked down so tight I could hardly get in myself so I loosened it up with a 31 character nonsense password. Wasn't good enough! So now it's locked down again and will stay that way. Thanks again!
DeleteI just got a copy of Wool myself, I'm absolutely dying to read it, want to finish what I started first though.
ReplyDeleteheres my week:http://superbookgrl13.blogspot.com/2014/09/its-monday-what-are-you-reading.html
It's a good idea to clear your plate first. You won't want to read anything else once you start!
DeleteSorry about the hack. My friend's email has been hacked and it has been a nightmare. I've seen Wool at the library and now I am going to check it out.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I hope you love Wool. It's a great read.
DeleteMy husband is reading Wool and he adores it! I guess he found out about it because there is a graphic novel by the same name. I wonder how that is.
ReplyDeleteI don't know much about hacking and where to go after that, but I'm sorry that it happened to you and kudos to you for keeping your blog open!
Amber Elise @ Du Livre
Ooh, I adore it too so far. I didn't know there's a graphic novel.
DeleteGosh, thanks, Amber Elise. I really considered throwing in the towel because it has been a vicious cycle, but now I'm fired up to keep going!
