Today's Follow Friday question over at Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read is:
Q. If you could write yourself a part in a book, what book would it be and what role would you play in that book?
Growing up I always wanted to be one of the Babysitters Club girls! I would probably want to be Dawn so I could have a super cool secret passage in my house.
Were you a fan of the BSC? I absolutely loved those books.
Jennifer over at Crazy For Books asks:
“What’s the LONGEST book you’ve ever read?”
Since I still haven't finished Gone with the Wind, I'll have to say Robert McCammon's Swan Song. At 956 pages, that is quite possibly the longest book I have read.
Oh man. Haven't thought of Babysitters books in years. New follower. come visit me over at Livre De Amour-Books of Love Blog.
ReplyDeleteI always wanted to be mary-anne from the BSC. But I do love secret passages.
ReplyDeletePopping back from PiF.
Baby sitters club- YES!
ReplyDeleteFollowing you!
Thanks for following me! I see you are reading Divergent, I hope you like it as much as I did!

I *am* reading Divergent, and it's great!
ReplyDeleteI never read any of the BSC books. I wasn't a reader as a kid. But, I'd love to have a cool secret passage in my house too!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the BSC books, but you are the second person with that answer today. I may have to check them out!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!
Here's my Follow Friday

I used to love the Baby Sitters Club.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by:)
Thanks for stopping by my blog - I'm a new follower here :) I always wanted to be part of the BSC too. I loved the friendship they had.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!
New follower hopping through! Thanks for stopping by my blog. :) That's so funny you chose BSC -- I totally made a plan when I was ten to create my own babysitter's club because of those books. It didn't work, but I wish it did!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good weekend! :)
Longest book I ever read was, I think, THE STAND uncut. OR whatever Stephen King book that might be longer. Actually, some of the Steve Erikson's books are pretty long. I think one of them I read was like 1100 pages long. Man.
ReplyDeleteSo Divergent is good, huh? I might have to pick that up then.
Hi Peter! Yeah - I think The Stand may weigh in bigger than Swan Song, huh?
ReplyDeleteDivergent is pretty good so far. I should finish it up tonight so I'll post on it soon. It has a very similar feel to Hunger Games, but I'm hoping it will end how I wished Hunger Games did. We'll see. :)
I haven't read the Baby-sitters club. When I was young, it was all about Sweet Valley High lol. I LOVED those!
ReplyDeleteI dropped by to return the follow. I look forward to reading your reviews.

Moment of truth here, I never read the babysitters club. Don't throw anything, please.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting StuckInBooks.com FF
Hmm...second mention of the Babysitters Club, but I don't know much about that :( I'm sure it would be awesome to be one, though.
ReplyDeleteGod, 956 pages...I think it would take me 100 years to write something that long, haha.
Have an awesome weekend!
Butterfly-o-Meter Books
LOL! I wouldn't throw anything at you. Well, except for maybe a copy of "Claudia and the Phantom Phone Calls". ;)
ReplyDeleteI like the Babaysitters Club too when I was in HS! But I haven't read the books though, I've only seen the movie :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit!
I'm following :)

OMG! Awesome the Babysitters Club. I loved those books as a kid. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! I didn't even think of babysitters club but I loved the books and I think it would be amazing to be in it
ReplyDeleteIs Swan Song longer than The Stand (uncut version)? If so, then *that* is the longest book I've ever read.
ReplyDeleteNoooo. Haha. I should have done more research than glancing at my bookshelf. It turns out The Stand, It, and The Witching Hour all have more pages than Swan Song. Oops. Oh well. :D
ReplyDeleteMy sister loved the Babysitter's Club books when she was younger.
ReplyDeleteAaron (Dreaming About Other Worlds).
I remember Dawn's secret passage! So cool.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by on the hop!
