Today's Follow Friday question over at Parajunkee's View is:How did you come up with your blog name?
I wanted to have a name that felt like a sanctuary. A Book Den, if you will. :)
Jennifer over at Crazy For Books asks: Do you read only one book at a time, or do you have several going at once?
I usually have several going at one time - physical book, ebook, audiobook. I read a lot of genre fiction, but I usually have a classic and a non-fiction book going, too.

ReplyDeleteI'm amazed at people who can read more than one book at a time. I rarely do it because I get sucked into the current book I'm reading so well and just have to finish.
ReplyDeleteNot everyone can multi-task and nobody should. When it comes to book sure, I can't read four books simultaneously (or even two, for that matter!) but there are times I'll juggle as many as four books at a time depending on the subject matter, the urgency or more often both.

How do you manage not to get confused by having so much going though? That's the main reason why I try to read just one at a time.

The multiple books I have going are usually so different from each other I don't have a problem. Right now I have a YA fantasy and an adult steampunk going. I couldn't do it if they were in the same genre. I would wind up getting confused. :)
